It has come to our attention that a fraudulent entity is impersonating our company to run a sophisticated recruitment scam. We are?taking?treating this matter with the utmost seriousness and are acting swiftly to protect job seekers. These scammers are contacting individuals with fake job offers, some of them on Indeed, conducting fraudulent interviews, and ultimately attempting to solicit money from candidates for "work equipment." Cambrium is in no way affiliated with this fraudulent activity. Our Commitment and Immediate Actions: We believe in transparency and proactive security. Upon learning of this scam, we immediately took the following steps: * Reported to Authorities & Platforms: We filed?a?formal complaints with the anti-fraud teams at Indeed?and, the domain registrar and hosting company (Tucows Domains, Tucows, and NTT), demanding immediate takedown of the fraudulent website and associated accounts. * Gathered Evidence: We have been in direct contact with every individual who?bravely?came forward to report this scam. Their information and evidence are crucial to the ongoing investigation. How to Protect Yourself: Your safety is our priority. Please be vigilant and remember these key points: * We NEVER ask for money. Cambrium will never require candidates to purchase their own equipment or pay any fees as part of the hiring process. * Verify Communication. All official communication from us will come from a verified?@cambrium.bio?email address. Be wary of interviews conducted exclusively over instant messaging or from personal email accounts. The scammers are using a lookalike domain (cambriumbio.com). Always double-check the sender's domain. * Trust Your Instincts. If a job offer seems too good to be true, if you are never talking to a real person?with their camera on during a call, or if you are pressured to make financial decisions quickly, it is likely a scam. We are deeply sorry for any distress this has caused. We are committed to resolving this issue and will continue to work with the relevant authorities.?If you have any further questions or you've been affected, don't hesitate to reach out to us.
